League of Excellence JR
Junior Circuit League
● Estimated 28-32 league games plus playoffs.
● Games played on 80ft or 90ft diamonds.
● Season runs from April until August with some weekend flexibility.
● Website for league standings and statistics.
● Weekend games will be potentially held in Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Edmonton.
● 3-4 games will be played each weekend with attempts to reduce travel. Weekday games may also be
scheduled.
● Teams may choose to participate in other tournaments or exhibition games as they see fit.
● Provincial League Championship August 26th to 28th in Sylvan Lake at Gulls Stadium.
● Circuit league teams have the option of participating in the Junior International Tournament stream, but are
NOT required to do so.

This is an exciting new high performance opportunity under the auspices of Little League Alberta as part of a pilot project fully approved and endorsed by Little League International to provide a re-imagined accessible, flexible structure for players in these teenage age groups. Each team entry included an option to enter the respective international tournament (complete with a world series) in the 2 separate age divisions (circuits) described in this program.
Junior Stream Dates
● Tryouts will be in March.
● Team rosters announced April 1st
● Team practices begin in April.
● Players Little League Age 13 to 14.
Junior International Tournament Stream
● Provincial championship tournament in July.
● Provincial champion advances to Canadian Championship.
● Canadian champion advances to World Series.
● Junior League World Series is held in Taylor Michigan August 14th to 21st.
Senior Stream Dates
