Welcome back baseball families! This year we want to make a commitment to leverage our website better as a place to find all things Medicine Hat Little League. Our first post is to outline important dates to assist you with your planning. Please note that many early season dates are weather dependent so please also keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

2024 House League Season

House League Player and Coach Registration
Early Bird Opens January 15th to March 1st, 2024
Save $25 on all divisions! Rates, division info and pricing can be found here
Registration Closes March 31st

House League Assessments
April 20-21 April 19-20 for Majors and April 27-28 April 21 for Minors and Teenage Division
Each year we have player assessments to kick off the season for all divisions Minors and above. We do this in order to evaluate and prepare for our coaches draft trying to make teams as equal as possible.

Season Start, Opening Day!
May 2024 (*April 29th for most divisions)
Start dates may be different for each division but all divisions will have 6 weeks of baseball twice a week for their season.

House League Tournaments
Little Sluggers, Rookie Jr and Rookie Sr.
There will be a Season Windup with lots of activities and events in the middle to end of June with that date still TBD

Minors June 7th – 9th
This is NOT the last weekend of baseball for the Minors division

Majors June 14 – 16th
This will be the last weekend of the season and will crown the league champ!

Teenage June 21 – 23rd
This will be the last weekend of the season and will crown the league champ!

2024 All Star and Summer Ball

Coaching Applications
January 20th we will begin accepting All Star coaching applications
Minor, Major and Teenage (Intermediate, Junior or Senior – player numbers dependent for rostered teams)
AAA Head Coaches will be named after applications, meetings and interviews in order to assist at tryouts. Other levels (if parent coaches) will be named based on where their player is rostered.

All-Star and Summer Ball Registration OPENS
February 15th
No rush however as we will be accepting registrations up to the tryout dates

All-Star and Summer Ball Tryouts
May 24 -26th @ Lions 1 and 2 and McDonnell Field
*Players hoping to make a AAA team must be in attendance for ALL tryout dates
